We are very fortunate to live in an area that has a wide variety of historic design styles. Our favorite architectural time periods are eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth century- times when integrity of craft was the norm. The simplistic beauty of early New England homes continues to inspire our design aesthetic today. The challenge of historic restoration is to blend authentic work and materials with high levels of energy efficiency, without losing the beauty and character of the original structure. Through our years of experience and thoughtful consideration of maintaining the historic fabric of the home, we continue to preserve our rich, built environment while reducing carbon emissions for our future.
